9 October 2026
Our October holiday timetable will run from Saturday 10 October until Sunday 25 October, with our normal class timetable returning on Monday 26 October 2026.
As always, we want to make the most of the holidays and give our members the opportunity to enjoy more time on the mat. During the holiday period, members are welcome to attend as many suitable classes as they wish, at no additional cost. This is a great chance to enjoy some extra judo, train alongside different members and perhaps experience a slightly different class from your usual weekly session.
There is no need to book additional sessions. Simply come along to the classes suitable for your age and ability.

We also ask members not to arrive too early for the first class of the day, as coaches may still be preparing the dojo.
Alongside our regular classes, we will also be running two weeks of our popular October holiday judo camps at our Garthdee dojo.
Week 1: Monday 12 – Friday 16 October
Week 2: Monday 19 – Friday 23 October
Time: 09:00–13:00 each day
Age: 4–13 years
Our camps are a great opportunity for children to stay active during the school holidays, enjoy judo, make new friends and take part in a variety of games, challenges and activities. Weather permitting, we also hope to enjoy some time outdoors.
Both existing members and children who have never tried judo before are welcome.
We also have a limited number of part-funded places available for Week 1, supported through Summer of Sport funding. Eligible families can access the full week for £50 instead of the usual £110.
Part-week bookings may also be available. Please contact us directly to discuss your requirements.
The school holidays are always a good opportunity to get a little more training in without the usual pressures of homework, school activities and busy family schedules.
Whether you attend one additional class or several, we encourage everyone to make the most of the opportunities available. Judo is about much more than simply learning techniques, and training with different partners, building friendships and enjoying the experience are all important parts of development.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the mat over the October holidays.
